Description

I. Overview

Centrifugal separation technology is a new technology developed based on the state of particles in a practical centrifugal situation. Particles of different densities, sizes, or shapes sediment in different centrifugal situations. Therefore, a roughly spherical heterogeneous mixture can be separated by centrifugation. A centrifuge is used for further researching biochemistry and separating a large amount of substances. For example, it can collect cells, separate plasma, isolate DNA and protein molecules from these pre-purified preparations, and can also separate viruses, as well as large-scale Escherichia coli, strict cell components, nucleoprotein particles, etc.

III. Usage Method

  1. Insert the centrifuge tubes with the substances to be separated into the centrifuge tubes provided with this machine respectively. To ensure good stability during the operation of the instrument and avoid large vibrations, the amount of substances added to each centrifuge tube must be basically equal, and they should be inserted symmetrically into the centrifuge tubes provided with this machine, then close the cover.

  2. Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch (at the back of the instrument).

  3. Press the select key. According to the indication on the display (flashing numbers), use the ▲▼ keys to select the required rotor number (3).

  4. Press the select key again. According to the indication on the display (flashing numbers), use the ▲▼ keys to select the required speed.

  5. Press the select key again. According to the indication on the display (flashing numbers), use the ▲▼ keys to select the required working time.

  6. Press the confirm key and then the start key. At this time, the centrifuge starts to work. When the set working time is reached, an alarm will be automatically triggered.

IV. Maintenance

  1. Correct use and attention to the maintenance of the instrument to keep it in good working condition can prolong the service life of the instrument.

  2. During the continuous operation of the instrument, a regular inspection should be carried out every three months: check if there are water droplets, dirt, etc. falling into the motor and control components, and check the fuses, control components, and fastening screws.

  3. After long-term use of the instrument, natural wear is a normal phenomenon.
