I. Overview

Centrifugal separation technology is a new technology developed based on the state of particles in a practical centrifugal situation. Particles with different densities, sizes or shapes settle in centrifugal situations with different speeds. So, a roughly spherical and heterogeneous mixture can be separated by means of centrifugation. The centrifuge is used for further researching biochemistry and separating a large amount of substances. For example, it can collect cells, separate plasma, isolate DNA and proteins from these purified preparations, and can also separate viruses, as well as large – scale Escherichia coli, strict cellular components, nucleoprotein particles, etc.

III. Instructions for Use

• The instrument should be placed on a stable workbench. The environment should be clean and tidy, with moderate temperature and humidity, and good ventilation.

• Before using the instrument, first set the speed – regulating knob to the minimum position.

• Insert the centrifuge tubes containing the substances to be separated into the centrifuge tubes equipped with the machine respectively. To ensure good stability and avoid large vibration during the operation of the instrument, the amount of substances added to each centrifuge tube must be basically equal, and insert them symmetrically into the centrifuge tubes equipped with the machine, then close the cover plate.

• Select timing, and adjust the timing knob to the “timing” or “normally open” position.

• Connect the power supply, set the power switch to the “ON” position, and the indicator light will be on. Slowly adjust the speed – regulating knob to rise to the required rotating speed.

• Before shutting down, the speed – regulating knob must be set to the minimum position, turn off the power switch, and cut off the power supply.
