Laboratory Spectrophotometer JK WFH-203B
The WFH-203B triple-purpose UV analyzer detects fluorescent substances via UV-induced fluorescence. Its fully enclosed ABS darkroom (with 254nm/365nm UV lamps, replaceable with 302nm, plus a 4W visible light) enables use in bright environments, suiting diverse fluorescence analysis needs.
Widely used in research (protein detection), pharmaceuticals (drug quality control), food (toxin screening), textiles (material identification), as well as forensic, archaeological fields—supports on-site rapid testing and lab analysis.
Technical Specifications
I. Overview
Triple-purpose UV Analyzer WFH-203B, also known as Ultraviolet Analyzer, Food Packaging Fluorescent Substance Detector, Paper Fluorescent Substance Detector, Fluorescent UV Rapid Detector, Fluorescent Brightener/Edible Fungus & Toxin Fluorescent UV Rapid Detector, Fluorescent Brightener, Edible Fungus, Toxin & Nitrofurazone Metabolite UV Rapid Detector, Darkroom-type Paper UV Analyzer, Fluorescent Substance Detector, and UV Detector.
II. Principle and Application Scope
For fluorescence analysis: Fluorescent substances are luminescent compounds. When irradiated by ultraviolet light, the energy excites electrons in their molecules to jump to a higher electronic energy level, putting the substance in an excited state. After absorbing this energy, the molecules return from the excited state to the ground state, releasing energy in the form of fluorescence.
It is mainly used in: biological genetic engineering, molecular genetics, medical and health care, biological products, pharmaceutical research, health and epidemic prevention, dye chemical industry, petrochemical industry, textile industry, political and legal departments, cultural relics and archaeology departments, and any department requiring fluorescence analysis and verification.
In scientific experiments, it is a routine instrument for detecting key substances such as proteins and nucleotides.
In pharmaceutical production and research, it can inspect the quality of fluorescent drugs like hormones, alkaloids, and vitamins, and is particularly suitable for thin-layer chromatography and paper chromatography spot detection.
In chemical industries (dyes, coatings, rubber, petroleum, etc.), it measures fluorescent materials, indicators, and additives, and identifies different types of crude oil and rubber products.
In the textile and chemical fiber industry, it identifies the quality of finished products made from raw materials such as wool, silk, man-made fibers, and cotton-synthetic fibers.
In the grain, oil, vegetable, and food sectors, it checks for toxins (e.g., aflatoxins), food additives, and quality of spoiled vegetables, fruits, cocoa butter, chocolate, fats, honey, sugar, and eggs.
In geology, archaeology, etc., it helps discover minerals and authenticate cultural relics/fossils.
In public security, it detects fingerprints and identifies secret writings.
For on-site batch rapid testing in agricultural product and food processing, storage, customs entry-exit, animal husbandry, scientific research, circulation, etc., and for food quality control in supermarkets and malls.
