Ultrasonic Bone Densitometer KJ OSTEOKJ3000

  • Electrical pulses excite ultrasonic transducers to emit waves, which penetrate the heel. Bone density variations cause differences in SOS (speed) and BUA (attenuation), from which T/Z scores are calculated.

  • Specializes in ultrasonic heel bone density detection, generating multi – parameter outputs (SOS, BUA, bone index, etc.) for skeletal health assessment.

Description

Working Principle

By exciting electrical pulses to the ultrasonic transducer, the transducer emits ultrasonic waves. These waves penetrate the testee’s heel and reach another ultrasonic transducer. Since the ultrasonic speed and attenuation differ when passing through various bone densities, the ultrasonic bone densitometer calculates SOS (Speed of Sound) and BUA (Broadband Ultrasonic Attenuation). Based on these, it derives parameters like T – Score and Z – Score, which are then displayed on the monitor or printed for doctors to diagnose and refer to.

Intended Use

Uses ultrasonic waves to detect the bone density value of the heel.

Software Functions and Parameters

Parameters: SOS, BUA, bone quality index, T – value, Z – value, adult ratio, peer ratio, and bone biological age.

Recommended External Equipment Configuration

OSTEOKJ3000 and OSTEOKJ3000+ models need to be connected to an external computer system (including a computer, monitor, printer, keyboard, and mouse).
