The OSTEO KJ3000 series ultrasonic bone densitometer is a calcaneal ultrasonic bone density detection device launched. The instrument has a dynamic and beautiful shape. The series products adopt oil – sac probes, with good comfort and stable test results; adopt a new generation of hardware technology, with an aesthetically – designed software interface, easy operation and learning, and a relatively good user experience.

It supports the Android system and can realize linkage control with Android mobile phones and tablet computers. (Applicable to OSTEO KJ3000+、OSTEO KJ3000M/M+、OSTEO KJ3000S+)

Working Principle

By exciting electrical pulses to the ultrasonic transducer, the ultrasonic transducer emits ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic waves penetrate the heel of the testee and reach another ultrasonic transducer. Since the ultrasonic speed and attenuation are different when ultrasonic waves pass through different bone qualities, by calculating SOS (speed of sound) and BUA (broadband ultrasonic attenuation), the ultrasonic bone densitometer obtains parameters such as the testee’s T – Score (T – value) and Z – Score (Z – value), and displays them through the monitor or prints them through the printer for doctors’ diagnosis and reference.

Uses ultrasonic waves to detect the bone density value of the heel.

Software Functions and Parameters

• Parameters: SOS, BUA, bone quality index, T – value, Z – value, adult ratio, peer ratio, BMI, height prediction, bone biological age

• Database: Drop – down list, can select “Asian”, “European”, “Middle Eastern” or “African”

• Animation Playback: When the subject’s age < 8 years old, the measurement interface is different from that when the subject’s age ≥ 8 years old: an animation is played on the right half of the interface to attract the attention of these child subjects, thus ensuring that the feet do not move during the measurement.
